The third edition of our master-level 5 ECTS course, “Introduction to Soft Robotics,” has successfully concluded. The course encompassed a series of comprehensive lectures supplemented by engaging and hands-on lab tutorials, providing students with a well-rounded understanding of soft robotics principles. The culmination of the course involved a project phase where students collaborated in groups, working under the guidance and supervision of lecturers, to undertake and complete an exam project. This practical phase offered students an opportunity to apply the knowledge gained during lectures and labs, fostering teamwork and practical skills development within the field of soft robotics.

This year’s project theme focused on soft locomotion. Each team was tasked with designing a soft robot capable of navigating a path comprising flat and inclined surfaces, obstacles, and rough terrains.
