Aida Parvaresh and Saravana P. Murali Babu attended the 12th International Symposium on Adaptive Motion of Animals and Machines, held jointly with the 2nd LokoAssist Symposium at TU Darmstadt, Germany, from July 7 to 11, 2025.
Aida gave an oral presentation on her work titled “Adaptive Crawling with a Soft Skin”, coauthored by Burcu Seyidoğlu, Ali Sahafi, and Ahmad Rafsanjani. She also showed our snake-inspired robot in action during the Robot Zoo session.

Saravana presented his work “A Snail-Inspired Modular Soft Robot”, co-authored with Cao Danh Do, Alessio Mondini, and Barbara Mazzolai, demonstrating how robotic systems can help study and reinterpret biological locomotion. He also showcased a traveling wave locomotion system inspired by snails, developed by bachelor students Mathias Jensen, Nicklas Nikolaj Grønvall, and Magnus Malthe Sigsgaard Nielsen.
